Oriental Rugs from the desert, that you could do a sand dance upon

These two Oriental Rugs are currently going through our unit. They are from a set of four from a home in Empingham, which have recently arrived back in the UK from a home in the deserts of Oman.

The rugs are approximately 4.5 meter long and the amount of sand inside them is amazing. Significant amounts of vibration were required to remove about 2 Litres of fine cream colour sand from each rug. Sand and grit can seriously damage the fibres and rapidly age your rugs.

We have the equipment to carefully remove particulate from inside oriental rugs and extend their life. Our mechanical rug vibration equipment is gentle but effective, at shaking out most of the particulate prior to cleaning and drying. Weaving Magic

If you would like your oriental rugs cleaned and protected then please call us. During CoVid 19, our workshop is closed to public visitors. We can collect and return your rugs whilst maintaining social distance. All Rugs are quarantined for 72 hours prior to cleaning.
