Cleaning Sanitizing and Disinfecting the apartments at Newcomb Court
What a pleasure meeting and talking to the lovely people at this retirement home in Stamford. This morning, we have just cleaned and sanitized for owners of the apartments on the second and third floors. A special thanks to the Management Team, for making this task so easy from signing in to signing out. The lift was also being tested today that made things interesting. The wearing of PPE during the procedure was required and is so important in Retirement and Care homes.
Whilst we conducted the process the occupants went into the garden and sat on the veranda in the sun. Sadly they cannot use the communal lounge at the moment. It was so nice to spend time talking with them and listening to their stories. We covered many subjects: the London Marathon, painting & decorating, plants and gardening and the amazing Wothorpe Tower Ruins which can be seen from the top floor. The chats made the job last a little longer but it was worth every minute. If you get chance please take time to talk to our senior citizens, as they have been slightly isolated over the last few months and a chat is wonderful medicine for the heart and soul.
